Summary

Eloise is a PhD student based at the Life Sciences department of the Natural History Museum. Her project is funded by the Science and Solutions for a Changing Planet Doctoral Training Program (SSCP DTP) run by the Grantham Institute.

In her project, Eloise will be reconstructing the skull evolution of fossil crown birds. The project is supervised by Prof Anjali Goswami (NHM), Dr Joseph Tobias (ICL), Dr Ryan Felice (UCL) and Dr Stephan Lautenschlager (University of Birmingham), in collaboration with Dr Daniel Field (University of Cambridge).

Eloise holds a BSc Earth Science degree from Imperial and an MSc Palaeobiology degree from the University of Bristol. Outside of her PhD, she has an interest in student welfare and is a Subwarden in student halls of residence.
