Summary
Evelyn is an MBBS-PhD student at the MSk Lab. She started training in medicine at Imperial College School of Medicine in 2009 and graduated from her intercalated BSc in Surgery and Anaesthesia in 2013. Instead of going straight into her fifth year at medical school, she is currently embarking on an intercalated PhD in the techniques and technologies associated with ACL Reconstruction Surgery under the supervision of Professor Justin Cobb, Professor Andrew Amis and Dr Chinmay Gupte.
She is interested in the mechanical properties of currently available grafts and fixation techniques as well as the functional outcomes of patients post-surgery.
She enjoys working with her hands and in her free time loves baking, knitting and sewing. She plays rugby for the Imperial College Women's Rugby Football Club (ICWRFC) and is a member of the Christian Medical Fellowship (CMF) and Imperial College Surgical Society.
