Summary
I am the Senior Tutor for the Department of Bioengineering, and Senior Teaching Fellow in the Faculty of Engineering. I have over 10 years of full-time teaching and research experience, along with over 2 years in the high-tech industry. I am a fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and qualified mental health first aider (MHFA England). I work closely with various student wellbeing and support structures on often complex student issues ranging from personal to academic life.
My research interests are medical image analysis, computer vision, and the application of artificial intelligence to healthcare. I have a DPhil in Engineering from the University of Oxford (2014), an MEng in Information and Intelligence Engineering from the University of Liverool (2007), and BS in Computer Engineering from COMSATS University Islamabad (2005). I was also a Post-Doc at the Department of Genetics at the University of Cambridge.
