Giada Baldessarelli is a Research Fellow at the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship at Imperial College Business School and a member of the Imperial Business Design Studio. Her research concerns the systematic development of creative outcomes in collaborative projects spanning organizational boundaries. Specifically, she explores the role of artifacts and aesthetics during actors' interactions in creative collaborations.
Prior to joining Imperial College, Giada was a postdoctoral researcher at Chalmers University of Technology. Giada holds a PhD in Management from the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne. She received her PhD in 2018 under the supervision of Prof. CL Tucci with a dissertation titled “Routines and practices in cross-boundary creative projects.” During her doctorate, Giada spent 10 months as a visiting researcher at Stanford University – Center for Design Research and the d.school.
