Summary

I have worked in the Department of Investigative Medicine at Imperial College London for ten years. Progressing from MRC PhD student to Welcome Post Doctoral fellow and subsequently being appointed to a Fast track to lecturer post. I am now a lecturer in the department having completed a Diabetes Research and Wellness Foundation (DRWF) non-clinical fellowship. My research interests lie in the obesity and diabetes fields. With particular interest in the gut- brain axis control of energy and glucose homeostasis. I have won funding from the Society for Endocrinology, DRWF, European Federation for the study of Diabetes, The Royal Society and the BBSRC.
