Summary
Gianluca is the Director of Operations and a Senior Policy Fellow at the Centre for Health Policy. The Centre is part of the Institute of Global Health Innovation.
He leads a multidisciplinary team of academics, clinicians and practitioners focused on creating evidence for health policy in the areas of patient safety, digital health, end-of-life care, diffusion of innovation and global health. The Centre is also the content partner for the World Innovation Summit for Health, one of the most prominent global events for healthcare policymakers.
He has advised health systems, providers and pharmaceutical companies in over 20 countries.
He joined Imperial in 2014 from McKinsey and Company, where he was a member of the Health Systems and Services practice and he helped start and run the Leading Health Systems Network, a global network of health systems, and the UK Advanced Healthcare Analytics Group.
He holds MSc and Bachelor Degrees from Bocconi University in Milan.
