Summary
Gareth is the Head of Space Programme in the Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College and part of the faculty operations team.
As the Head of Space Programme Gareth has management responsibility for the series of new build and refurbishment projects that make up the space programme and for business as usual space management within the faculty.
Gareth gained his BSc Hons in biochemistry from the University of Bristol in 2002 and his PhD in Biomedical Science from the University of Manchester in 2007. Following his PhD Gareth spent 7 years as a post-doctoral research associate at the University of Manchester and Imperial College. Following this Gareth had positions as the laboratory manager of the Vascular Science Section and as the Safety and Technical Services Manager in the NHLI prior to taking up his current role.
