RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research interests are focused on fundamental understanding of the thermophysical properties of complex fluids of industrial interest. Systems studies include reformulated fuels, hydrogen, solvents and crude oils under high-pressure high-temperature conditions. I was a lead researcher in two successfully-completed industry-funded projects in which two bespoke apparatus were designed and built to evaluate several thermophysical properties of complex fluids. Currently, I am the lead researcher in the ACT project “Enabling a Low-Carbon Economy via Hydrogen and CCS”, where I am studying the solubility of hydrogen in brine systems at storage reservoir conditions
