Summary
Helena is an MRes and PhD student in the Institute of Chemical Biology CDT (ICB-CDT) at Imperial College London, currently working under the supervision of Dr Iain Dunlop (biomaterials) and Dr Nadia Guerra (life sciences). Before joining Imperial, Helena graduatefd from the University of Birmingham with an MSci in Chemistry in July 2018.
Helena is a strong supporter of diversity within STEM and has a long history of work in women in STEM student groups and outreach in schools and science fairs. Currently, she sits on the committee of Imperial's postgraduate women in STEM group.
