Summary

Hollie Folkard-Tapp (MEnvSci) is a PhD researcher under the NERC DTP Science and Solutions for a Changing Planet.

Her research focuses on optimising the recovery of degraded tropical rainforest logging estates in Malaysian Borneo. The study area falls within the Stability of Altered Forest Ecosystems (SAFE) Project; one of the world's largest ecological experiments, which takes advantage of a planned conversion of forest to oil palm to experimentally design a landscape.
