Teaching & Outreach

I have been an active member of the STEM Ambassador scheme since 2009 and as such I have provided online mentoring, spoken at careers events and volunteered at the Big Bang Fair. It was a very rewarding challenge to make the same displays and activities accessible to students of all ages and to tailor my explanations to their level of understanding. I often receive positive feedback from students and teachers about my ability to engage their interest. I volunteered as a tutor with The Access Project from 2013-2014 and it was very fulfilling to offer free tutoring to students from schools in disadvantaged areas.

As a postgraduate student at Imperial College I have worked as a laboratory demonstrator in undergraduate labs and supervised first year undergraduate projects.
