Summary

Hongmin is a PhD student in the Structural Integrity and Health Monitoring research group at the Department of Aeronautics. He is supervised by Professor M H Ferri Aliabadi and Dr. Zahra Sharif Khodaei.

Hongmin's research interests include Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) with particular emphasis on the damage detection on composite structures and Prognostics & Health Management (PHM) particularly the Remaining Useful Life (RUL) estimates for complex engineered systems.

Prior to joining Imperial College London, Hongmin obtained a BEng and an MEng degree in Safety Engineering from the University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB), in 2016 and 2019 respectively.
