Summary
As Communications and Marketing Manager for the National Heart & Lung Institute I manage the website, social media channels and internal communications including the monthly newsletter. In addition I support all other digital communications across the department, including news stories. I work with the NHLI Education team to market our courses and also to share the experiences and achievements of our students.

previous experience
Following a BSc in Zoology I worked as a behavioural researcher studying meerkats in the Kalahari desert before returning to the UK to study for a MSc in Science, Culture and Communication.
I have worked as a camera assistant and researcher on wildlife series for companies including the BBC, Animal Planet and Granada. As a science researcher I have worked for both radio and television productions, writing scripts and storylines for science productions, as well as exhibition work for the Science Museum. More recently my role included format transfer and technical support for broadcast kit as well as AV support. I have worked on websites for both the academic and media sectors.
