Summary
Dr Ernie Wong is a honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the Airway Disease Infection section, National Heart and Lung Institute. He is a Consultant Respiratory Physician and the lead for Asthma at St Mary's Hospital.
He graduated from Imperial College School of Medicine in 2006 with merits. After his foundation and core medical training in North West Thames, he completed specialist training in respiratory and general internal medicine in South Thames and trained at St George's Hospital, King's College Hospital and Royal Brompton Hospital respectively.
He was awarded a PhD investigating the lung microbiome in virus induced asthma exacerbations under the supervision of Prof Sebastian Johnston and Prof William Cookson.
