Summary

Ildar Farkhatdinov is an honorary lecturer in department of Bioengineering of Imperial College of London and he works with Professor Etienne Burdet in Human Robotics Group. He is also a Senior Lecturer in Robotics at Queen Mary University of London. He got his Ph.D. in Robotics from University Pierre and Marie Curie in 2013 UPMC Paris VI Univ (Paris, France), M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Korea University of Technology and Education in 2008 (Cheonan, South Korea), and B.Sc. with honors in Automation and Control from Moscow State University of Technology STANKIN (Moscow, Russia) in 2006. His primary research interests are in the field of human-robot/computer interaction, in particular haptics, teleoperation, human perception and biomechanics, as well in design and control of robotic systems. He currently works on human posture balance control and its implementation for physical and virtual systems.
