Summary
I have worked at Imperial College since 2005. Previously I worked as a post-doc at the University of Cambridge, the University of California at Davis, and at Imperial. I did my PhD (on hydrocarbon degradation and bioremediation) at the University of Aberdeen.
My current research interests are in metabolomics: that is, comprehensive or untargetted metabolite profiling. It can be thought of as a new and powerful way of determining biological phenotypes. In particular, I am interested in microbial and invertebrate metabolomics.
