As Departmental Research Data Manager in the Faculty Research Strategy team I am responsible for management of internal systems and data, as well as helping provide support to researchers in securing grant funding. This includes activities such as organisation of mock interview practice, identification of relevant funding opportunities and assistance with systems such as Symplectic and ResearchFish.
I have undertaken multiple projects to improve the quality of data held at a Departmental level to allow for more reliable analysis, and have a particular interest in developing internal systems and processes to make the most out of best practice.
Having graduated with an undergraduate degree in law, I first joined Imperial College in 2015 on the Department of Medicine Operations trainee scheme. After undertaking a number of rotations within different parts of the Department, I progressed to a full time role in the Research Support team, and subsequently moved to my current position in the Faculty team.
I am a Prince 2 Practitioner, having completed this project management qualification in November 2016.
