Summary

John Crawshaw has a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nottingham,U.K. Following a Post Doc at the University of Cambridge researching flow and heat transfer in moving bed reactors he moved to Schlumberger and spent 14 years at their Cambridge Research Centre.  During this time he worked on several aspects of flow in porous media related to the oil industry with an emphasis on complex fluids such as foams, polymer and viscoelastic surfactant solutions.  In 2010 he joined Imperial College London as a Research Fellow in the Qatar Carbonates and Carbon Storage Research Centre working on experimental investigations of rock fluid interactions and flow in porous media.
