Overview
My background is in energy storage, with a particular interest in hydrogen. I am currently the Project Leader for the Faraday Institution's Multiscale Modelling (of lithium ion batteries) project, helping to coordinate the research being done at multiple scales at nine UK universities. I am also leading the techno-economic analyses within the project, looking at whole system and lifecycle impacts of different cell chemistries and designs, with the aim of improving the economic and sustainability case for batteries.
