Jenni is an Honorary Teaching Fellow for the Preventive Cardiology Programme at Imperial College London, having previously being the programme's leader since its inception in 2008. She is also the Director of Physical Activity for the MyAction programme – a community-based family-centred integrated vascular health programme - which is a research and teaching initiative led by the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, NHLI, based at the International Centre for Circulatory Health.
In her aim to improve the standards of care in the prevention and management of cardiovascular disease she has had a longstanding commitment to the British Association for Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation (BACPR) in a wide-range of educational programmes and is the Association’s current president. She is also a member of the ESC Scientific Programme Committee of the Council on Cardiovascular Nursing and Allied Professionals (CCNAP). She is a founder member of the BACPR-Exercise Professionals Group and the Past Chair of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Cardiac Rehabilitation (ACPICR).
Jenni started at Imperial College in 2001 as the Physiotherapy Coordinator for the EUROACTION study. She moved to Ireland in 2012 and now works in addition to her honorary appointments with Imperial as the Director of Prevention, Training and Education for Croí West of Ireland Heart Foundation.
