Summary

James Romero joined Imperial in March 2015 to help raise awareness and understanding of the university’s research amongst the general public and across the College’s various key stakeholders.

He works on the public research events programme, including the Imperial Festival and Fringe exhibitions, as well as the College’s variety of public lectures.

After studying Geology at the University of Birmingham, James spent five years at specialist STEM PR agency, Proof Communication, working with a variety of science facilities, research funders and universities.

Outside of College life, James writes about astronomy and plaentary science for Sci-News.com and has worked as part of the team behind Pint of Science, a worldwide festival of public science lectures.
