John is a trainee in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in North West London. He gained his MBBS qualification from Imperial college in 2010, having also completed an intercalated BSc in Surgery & Anaesthesia with First Class Honours. During his six years at Imperial John performed various audits and mini-projects which have been presented nationally and internationally; and have earned him various prizes. He carried out a two-month elective at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York in Surgery and Gynaecology. John completed his foundation training in North West London, having worked at Ealing Hospital and Hillingdon Hospital. He went on to secure a highly competitive training number in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in 2012 in North West London. 

John has taken time out of his training programme to pursue his research interests and has taken up a PhD post. His research interests include gynae-oncology, with a particular focus on ovarian cancer, immunology, and immunotherapy. 

John is also a keen and enthusiastic teacher. He has taught Imperial College fifth year medical students on Obs and Gynae revision courses. He has also taught on the MRCOG Part 1 course which is run by Imperial College. John has setup a successful hysteroscopy and laparscopy training course for Obstetrics & Gynaecology trainees in the region. He was awarded the Innovation in Training award from the London Deanery in 2014.
