Summary
Jorge is a PhD candidate working in the Basque Centre for Climate Change as a researcher in the EU2020 project Paris Reinforce aimed at designing decarbonisation pathways aligned with the Paris Agreement with stakeholders using integrated assessment models. His main research interest include the analysis of environmental SDGs interactions in low carbon transitions.
He holds a BSc and MSc. in Aerospace Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and a MSc. in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London.
He has previously worked as an analyst in the UN think tank Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) on the production of national, regional and international SDG progress reports, developing the Environmental Impact Index (EII) to measure the countries’ international imprints and in a project with the Inter-American Development Bank developing a sustainable infrastructure impact tool.
