Joshua Blight is a Research Associate and CSO of Baseimmune based in the laboratory of Prof. Jake Baum. He obtained his DPhil at the Jenner Institute at the University of Oxford where he developed computational methods to design vaccine antigens against highly variable pathogens. Two of his vaccines are now in clinical trials with one licensed to Vaccitech Ltd.

He currently works as a Research Associate with a team developing innovate pre-erythrocytic vaccines for malaria. As CSO of Baseimmune he is also working on a number of human and veterinary vaccines.
