Summary
Dr Kirran Ahmad joined the Centre for Psychedelic Research in February 2021 as a clinical trial doctor. She is excited to bring her knowledge and learnings from her experience as a senior anaesthetic registrar at the NHS Barts and Royal London Hospital Trust to this role. Dr Kirran obtained her medical degree from the University of Nottingham in 2009 and attained the Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists in 2016.
She joins the team as a clinical research fellow to pursue her passion for advancing medicine through innovation. Whilst at Imperial she will be working across a number of exciting studies and collaborating closely with Professor David Nutt and Dr David Erritzoe.
