My research interests include biopreparedness, emerging and zoonotic infectious diseases, and mathematical modeling. My work will involve analyzing the spatial spread of Zika and chikungunya viruses in Colombia. Future work will be extended to dengue virus. It is hoped that these results could be used to understand recent outbreaks and improve control strategies.
My PhD is supervised by Professor Christl Donnelly at Imperial College London and Dr. Pierre Nouvellet at University of Sussex. I am funded by the President's PhD Scholarship, Imperial College London.
