Katie Stripe is Senior Learning Designer on the Attributes and Aspirations short course working within the postgraduate medicine education team.
After working in the Czech Republic as an English Language teacher Katie returned to the UK to complete a teaching diploma and gain qualified teacher status. She worked at NHLI for 6 years first with MSc Preventive Cardiology then on all MSc taught courses.She then moved to supporting curriculum review digital transformation accross postgraduate medicine before moving into a learning design role for the A&A project.
She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Certified Member of the Association of Learning Technologists.
In 2017 Katie was part of a team that received a grant from The Excellence Fund for Learning and Teaching Innovation to develop the IMPLEMnT project which aims to design and build a tool that helps people in higher education deliver technology enhanced education.
She is also part of the team developing IMPACTS: An Inclusive Module for Professional And Critical Thinking Skills which received funding in 2018 to create a blended programme for delivering professional and critical thinking skills to post-graduate medical students.
