Dr. Keittisak Suwan is currently a Senior Research Associate, working in the Phage Therapy group led by Dr. Amin Hajitou. He conducted PhD research at Aichi Medical University, Japan and received his PhD from the Department of Medicine, Chiang Mai University, Thailand. He began his research career as a Research Fellow in the Department of Pathology, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, USA. Subsequently, he was appointed as a Research Associate at the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology, University of Oxford, (formerly Imperial College London), where he trained in molecular biology and in the area of gene therapy.
He is interested in the developing of bacteriophage derived vector for targeted gene therapy and immunotherapy. He also investigate the interactions of bacteriophage and eukaryotic immune systems.
