SUMMARY

Dr. Keittisak Suwan is currently a Senior Research Associate, working in the Phage Therapy group led by Prof. Amin Hajitou. He conducted PhD research at Aichi Medical University, Japan and received his PhD from the Department of Medicine, Chiang Mai University, Thailand. His research career has begun at the Department of Pathology, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, USA as a Research Fellow. Later, he was appointed as a Research Associate at the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology, University of Oxford, (formerly Imperial College London), where he was trained in molecular biology and gene therapy.

His research interests are in the developing of bacteriophage derived vector for targeted gene therapy and immunotherapy.  He also investigate the interactions of bacteriophage and eukaryotic immune systems.
