Summary

Summary

I am an enthusiastic researcher with a strong interest in sustainable energy, alternative fuels and novel energy materials and their application in energy conversion and storage. I have always had a strong passion for energy research and I believe wholeheartedly that it is our duty as scientists and engineers to try to further the progress of our wider society.

Prior to joining Imperial College London, I worked as a research fellow in hydrogen storage technologies for the European Commission DG Joint Research Centre and earned my PhD at University of Glasgow. Since 2018, my research work has focused on the thermal management and safety aspects of lithium-ion cells. I am currently managing the technical activities of “BATMAN” at Imperial College London (ICL), a 2.8 million £ project funded by Innovate UK under the Faraday Challenge.

I am now building upon my research, identifying new approaches for battery testing and evaluating thermal management strategies and their effect on degradation.
