Summary
Lee Pearson is doctoral researcher in the Centre for Environmental Policy at Imperial College London with an interest in trade-related impacts from domestic environmental and health policy. He is particularly interested in how the Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) Agreement and Sanitary Phytosanitary (SPS) Agreement are utilized by WTO members.
Lee's PhD research is sponsored by the United States Environmental Protection Agency as a part of the EPA Marshall Scholarship. He spent the first year of his PhD as a Fulbright Scholar in the College of Business and Economics at Australia National University.

Previous Work
Before starting the PhD, Lee was a Mirzayan Science and Technology Fellow at The National Academies in Washington D.C. He has previously conducted agriculture laboratory research as an intern with Bayer CropScience in Germany. In the field, he continues to manage an agriculture technology based placement with a rural NGO in a coffee producing region of Uganda through Engineers Without Borders – UK.
