Summary

Loukas is a bioinformatician, who completed his PhD dissertation on the mathematical modelling of DNA methylation. He is currently employed as a research associate in molecular epidemiology at Imperial College London, and his work focuses on leveraging genetic data to identify causal risk factors for cardiovascular diseases, but also gain insight into various aspects of drug effects, such as exploring efficacy, repurposing opportunities and adverse effects of drugs that are being pursued in clinical development.
