1.Citizen Science
Founder and former Director of Open Air Laboratories Network (OPAL)
OPAL is the largest citizen science programme in the UK. OPAL seeks to design and deliver environmental research and education projects suitable for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. The activities involve studying local environments and sharing the information to increase knowledge and understanding of our natural heritage and thereby contributing to sustainable development and environmental protection.
OPAL is affiliated to the Living With Environmental Change programme (www.lwec.org.uk)
