Summary

Martin is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Director for the Imperial GP Specialty Training Scheme. He is also a GP Partner and Trainer at a practice in York.

Martin joined the department in 2011 and had a key role in setting up the Imperial GP Training Scheme, the first in London to be based within an Academic Department of Primary Care, and has been a pioneer in strengthening the links between Academic Primary Care and GP Training.

Martin is a GP Partner at York Medical Group, a large partnership in the City of York that looks after 45000 patients. He is director of it's education wing, YMG Learning and a GP Trainer and Undergraduate Tutor. Prior to that Martin spent 14 years as a GP Partner at Clapham Park Group Practice,

Alongside the above work, Martin has worked as a GP Federation Director in Lambeth, co-chair and clinical director of Lambeth Prime Ministers Challenge Fund (a £3.5M project to extend GP access in Lambeth) and chair of Lambeth Community Education Provider Network.

Martin is the co-author of two textbooks with Wiley Blackwell: GP Cases at a Glance and How to Pass the CSA exam.
