Aims
This module uses methods from microeconomics to investigate how different aspects of the healthcare system function. The primary goals of the course is to apply different economic concepts in the context of healthcare and to learn about the specific institutional details relevant to these markets. By the end of the course, you will be able to dissect, and apply economic analysis to, large and important policy questions in healthcare reform and policy.
