Summary
Mark joined Imperial College London in 2020. Prior to his current position, he held teaching positions in mathematics and statistics at KU Leuven (Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences), University of Antwerp (Faculty of Business and Economics), Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Faculty of Social Sciences, and Solvay Business School) and Université libre de Bruxelles (Faculty of Sciences).
Mark’s teaching is centred around (i) a structured and precise way of reasoning, which is at the heart of decision-making, and (ii) using theoretical concepts to create added value in a business environment.
Mark holds an Advanced MSc in Statistics and Operations Research from Université libre de Bruxelles and a MSc in Mathematics from Vrije Universiteit Brussel. He has also successfully completed the International Teachers Programme at INSEAD.
During the current academic year, Mark is module leader for the core module Maths and Statistics Foundations for Analytics in the programme MSc in Business Analytics. He also teaches in the core module Machine Learning and in the electives Digital Marketing Analytics, Energy Analytics, Financial Analytics of the same programme.
Mark enjoys exploring new places and people during city trips. He also loves taking long walks in the outdoors.
