I'm a Professor in the Department of Materials where I have been since joining Imperial in 2004. I initially joined as a postdoctoral researcher and in 2007 was awarded a Royal Academy of Engineering Research Fellowship. Following this I was appointed as Lecturer in 2013, then Senior Lecturer (2015), Reader (2017) and most recently to Professor in 2020.
During my time at Imperial I have held a number of additional roles including course Director of our Advanced Materials Science and Engineering MSc and Director of Undergraduate Studies. I was also a College Warden for almost a decade and recently joined the Engineering Faculty Team as Deputy Faculty Senior Tutor.
For a number of years I have had close involvement with the Centre for Processable Electronics here at Imperial and the Centre for Doctoral Training in Plastic Electronic Materials (PE-CDT).
I'm proud to supervise a fabulous group of researchers here at Imperial, you can find out more about them on my personal website.
