Summary
Matt Ryan is the Divisional Manager for Surgery and Cancer's Divisions of Cancer and APMIC.
Matt works with the Departmental Management Team to ensure the effective and efficient running of both Divisions in relation to operational matters and the implementation of strategy and policy.
He provides a customer-focused service for the Divisions, acting as the first point of contact for matters relating to Grant application and management, Human Resources and Finance and works with the Finance and Operations Managers to provide support to the Division.
Matt has worked for Imperial College since December 2009. He joined as the Project Manager for the MOSAIC study after working for six years in International Development in Kosovo and Ghana. He then moved to the Department of Surgery and Cancer to work in a variety of roles in the IGHI, CSM and Surgery before moving to his current role at Cancer and APMIC in August 2019.
