Michael re-joined the College in 2019 after previously working at Imperial between 2012-2016.
In his current role in the Enterprise Division, he is focused on promoting technologies and commercialisation opportunities throughout Imperial by engaging with staff, students and external stakeholders, such as investors and senior business leaders. He specialises in digital media production and omni-channel management.
Previously, Mike has worked in events management, public relations and media-facing roles for charities and in the public sector, and in his former life at Imperial included delivering the Imperial Fringe (now Imperial Lates) series and Festival, alongside a range of different activities for stakeholders of all levels.
Mike is passionate about empowering people to share their experiences of what it's like to be a part of our world-leading university, especially in the technical and professional roles that ensure that our academics' and researchers' expertise can be effectively shared to create impact beyond the labs.
Away from the desk, Mike enjoys playing sports, particularly cricket, and spends a lot of time with his family - notably as a taxi-service/chaperone between their various pursuits!
Mike is also the Communications Officer for the Imperial branch of Unite the Union, and a deputy Unite representative on the SAUL Negotiating Committee, acting on behalf of the Union's members in discussions about the future of the pension scheme.
