Summary

Dr. Nigel Smith is an astro-particle physicist and the Director of the SNOLAB International Deep Underground Science Facility near Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.  Since 1992, Dr. Smith has been actively involved in the development and operation of deep underground detectors for dark matter research and the associated infrastructures required.
