I am an environmental scientist with a research focus on air quality and isotope geochemistry. In my current research project, I apply copper (Cu) and zinc (Zn) isotopes for aerosol source tracing with a main focus on combustion vs. non-combustion sources. Previous work includes a comprehensive characterization of air pollution in Beijing, China (e.g. source apportionment, evaluation of the mitigation measures during the Olympic Summer Games 2008, bio-availability of trace metals).
