Fluid Mechanics 3 - CE3-03-2

Aims

The aims of this course are to equip students with the ability to apply mathematical techniques to derive and solve the equations of motion of fluids, and to introduce models for non-Newtonian fluids and models for turbulent flows. The course will build upon the material introduced in the fluid mechanics, and mathematics courses in Years 1 and 2.

Mastery for Engineers 3 - CE3-01

Aims

The aim of mastery in the 3rd year is to reinforce the integration of core Chemical Engineering elements in tackling general and design-type problems. In the 3rd year, course elements pertaining to aspects of process design, environmental engineering, and safety will provide students with a greater depth of understanding of practical engineering matters.
