I am a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. My research concentrates on applied electromagnetism, in particular, near-field communication and sensing, metamaterials, and terahertz electronics. 

I joined Imperial College in 2009 on a Newton International Fellowship awarded by the Royal Society. In 2011-2014, I was an Imperial College Junior Research Fellow.  

Between 2007 and 2009, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Universities of Osnabrueck and Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany.  I obtained a PhD degree in 2007 from the Department of Physics of the University of Osnabrueck.
