Summary

I am a PhD student in the School of Public Health and part of the Science and Solutions for a Changing Planet (SSCP) Doctoral Training Partnership in the Grantham Institute. My supervisors are Dr Kris Murray and Prof. Rob Ewers.

I am interested in the ecology of infectious diseases, and for my project, I will be investigating the public health impacts of ecological degradation, with a focus on the effects of agriculture.

Before starting my PhD, I completed an integrated master's in Biology at the University of Oxford. For my research project, I investigated the effect of drought on the functional trait composition of grassland communities in Wytham Woods, Oxfordshire, under the supervision of Dr Rob Salguero-Gómez and Dr John Jackson.
