Summary
Research
My research interests focus on complex fluids and complex systems. Recent/ongoing projects include:
- Linear and nonlinear stability of viscoelastic shear flows
- Influence of superhydrophobic surfaces on channel flow of shear-thinning fluids
- Classification of bots and analysis of their influence on Twitter
- Waves and turbulence in simulated pedestrian motion
- Abstract-based automated identification of multidisciplinary research
Teaching
I teach two classes in the Mathematics Department:
Network Science: an elective for 2nd-year students
Scientific Computation: an elective for 3rd-year and master's students
