I am an energy and engineering consultant with more than ten years of experience working in the energy industry and in multi-national engineering projects. I started working as an entrepreneur in a technological entrepreneurship in the energy efficiency area about ten years ago. Since then I have played different roles in the areas of project management, system engineering, and consultancy for a wide range of industrial, governmental, and academic partners and stakeholders.
I received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Chile, in 2003 and 2005, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Imperial College London, UK, in 2015. Currently I am a Consultant on Smart Energy at DNV GL, and also a Visiting Reseacher at Imperial College London. My research interests include power system economics, optimization, market regulation, demand flexibility, electromobility, renewable energy, energy storage, and the smart grid.
