I am an energy engineer, consultant and researcher with more than 15 years work experience in the energy sector. I started working as an entrepreneur in a energy efficiency technological spinoff, and since then I have played different roles in the areas of project management, system engineering, product development, and consultancy and advisory for a wide range of industrial, financial, governmental, and R&D organisations.
I received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Chile, in 2003 and 2005, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Imperial College London, UK, in 2015. Currently I am a UK&I and RoW Head of Solar Storage Product Development at Centrica PLC, and also a Visiting Reseacher at Imperial College London. My research interests include power system economics, renewable generation and energy storage, optimisation, demand flexibility, electromobility, and the smart grid
