Dina R, 2003, The interpretation of crowded cells in cervical smears, CPD Bulletin Cellular Pathology, Vol: 5, Pages: 3-6, ISSN: 1464-2506
In conventional cervical smears, crowded cells can be problematical and require careful assessment and interpretation. There are a number of causes for crowding of cells. Some of these are significant while others are important as pitfalls. This article aims to discuss and illustrate the main causes.
