Summary
Rand Gerges Yammine is a Research Associate at the Innovation & Entrepreneurship group at Imperial College Business School London. She is currently working on a research project examining the networking behaviors of entrepreneurs. Rand also has a particular interest in topics revolving around digital entrepreneurship, interorganizational networks, interfirm collaboration, open innovation, and creativity.
Prior to joining Imperial, she was a visiting scholar at SCANCOR at Stanford University. She was also involved with Stanford’s d.school where she participated in an extensive one-year program on Design Thinking. In addition to academia, Rand convenes Design Thinking workshops and consults for high-growth startups in tech, creative industries, and luxury, primarily in the Silicon Valley and Paris.
Rand holds a PhD in Management from EMLYON Business School. During her PhD studies, she received several grants and awards including a grant from the National Science Foundation, a grant from the American Foundation (Allyage) to fund her stay at Stanford University, as well as the Best Reviewer Award from the Academy of Management.
