Summary
As the Research Manager (RM) I pro-actively oversee research operations and ensure the implementation of the Department research strategy. The RM role is the focal point for the management of the research activities in the department. I support academic staff acting as a key and pivotal contact and source of information for research within the department including acting as a conduit between the Department, Research Services and the Contracts Management Team for proposals, operating projects and contracts.
I also advise the Departmental Operations Manager and the Research Committee on the current and future research portfolio and other strategic aspects of departmental administration.
