Summary

Rachel is a Professor of Economics at Imperial College Business School in the Department of Economics and Public Policy. 

Her research interests span the theory of economic growth, labour markets and housing markets, focusing on structural transformation, time allocation across skills, gender and across countries, role of search frictions in housing markets and on the Chinese economy.  

She is a research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) and Institute of Labor Economics (IZA),  and a Theme Leader for the Structural Transformation and Economic Growth (STEG).
