Summary

Rosemarie Ziedonis is a visiting Professor of Strategy and Innovation. She is on leave from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business for the 2022-2023 academic year.

Her research examines the value and strategic use of intellectual property, and broader aspects of innovation policy and management. Findings from her studies have been published in the Journal of Financial Economics, Organization Science, Management Science, the Rand Journal of Economics, Research Policy, Science and the Strategic Management Journal. She is an Associate Editor at Management Science, and a Research Associate in the Productivity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship Program at the National Bureau of Economic Research.

Prior to joining Imperial College London, Rosemarie served on the faculty at the Wharton School, the University of Oregon, and the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, where she co-directed the Program for Law, Economics, and Technology. She has a Ph.D. in Business and Public Policy from the University of California Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and an undergraduate degree in economics from the University of North Carolina. During her academic career, she has won multiple teaching awards at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.
